As the Salih Tatlıcı Foundation, we have once again made a donation to ‘Humane Society International,’ an organization that operates in over 50 countries to enhance animal welfare, foster the human-animal bond worldwide, rescue and protect dogs and cats, improve the well-being of farm animals, safeguard wildlife, promote animal-free testing and research, and engage in interventions. This organization also strives to combat all forms of cruelty against animals and respond to disasters globally. In recognition of our donation, the organization presented a certificate of appreciation to our Foundation.

Regarding the donation, Uğur Tatlıcı, Executive Board member of our Foundation, stated, “Animals are among the most important parts of our lives. The role of animals in the development and progress of civilization is undeniable. Beyond all this, animals are our best friends. In our world, there are as many good people as there are unfortunately bad ones. These individuals disregard animal rights and pursue profit by harming them. We must support efforts to protect all animals worldwide, including those subjected to cat and dog meat trade, those suffering in laboratories and factory farms, and those exploited in the wild. As a Foundation, we see it as our duty to once again donate to ‘Humane Society International,’ an organization that fights against animal cruelty and promotes a cruelty-free lifestyle for all animals. We love our animal companions very much and wish them long lives filled with health, safety, and happiness.”
