As the Salih Tatlıcı Foundation, we made a donation to the organization called “FOUR PAWS,” which works for animals in need that were adversely affected by the war in Ukraine and has made great efforts in the international arena to contribute to their well-being and safety since the beginning of February 2022. A certificate of appreciation was presented to our Foundation by the organization due to the donation.
Helping animals who are victims of war in Ukraine is a humanitarian duty
“Unfortunately, the war between Ukraine and Russia continues with all its negativities. Undoubtedly, wars negatively affect not only children and adults but also animals. As a foundation, we have previously provided aid to the victims of war in Ukraine. This time, we supported “FOUR PAWS,” an international organization that works for animals in need in Ukraine. I hope the war ends soon before it inflicts more wounds,” stated Uğur Tatlıcı, Executive Board Member of our Foundation, regarding the donation.
About “FOUR PAWS”
FOUR PAWS is the global animal welfare organization for animals under direct human influence, which reveals suffering, rescues animals in need, and protects them.
Founded in 1988 in Vienna by Heli Dungler and friends, the organization advocates for a world where humans treat animals with respect, empathy, and understanding.
