On the occasion of “5 June World Environment Day”, Salih Tatlıcı Foundation has donated to the Royal Society for the Protection of Birds (RSPB), which has a 134-year history of working for the protection of plants, animals, and habitats in the UK and around the world to promote the protection of birds and the wider environment.
When We Are All Environmentally Conscious, Everywhere Will Become A Paradise
Regarding the donation, Uğur Tatlıcı, Executive Board Member of our Foundation, said: “It is in our hands to keep our world clean and colorful. It is necessary to take green steps for a green future. It is now imperative that social sensitivity about the environment continues to increase and that we leave a livable, healthy, green, and clean world to future generations. For the future of children, we have to leave them a more livable world. We are not the only ones. There was life in these lands before us and there will be life after us. I wish everyone to live in a healthy, clean, and undamaged environment, and happy World Environment Day.“
Royal Society for the Protection of Birds (RSPB)
The Royal Society for the Protection of Birds (RSPB) is a registered charity in England and Wales and Scotland. It was founded in 1889. It works in the UK and worldwide to promote the conservation of birds and the wider environment through public awareness campaigns, petitions, and the operation of nature reserves across the UK.
The Royal Society for the Protection of Birds protects habitats, saves species, and helps to end the nature and climate emergency. It does this through five main areas of work: science, species, places, people, and policy.
Today the RSPB works with both the public sector and Government to advise Government policy on conservation and environmentalism. It is one of the few organizations to determine the official list of conservation status for all birds found in the UK. The RSPB is part of Bird Life International, a network of organizations working together to save nature around the world.
