As the Salih Tatlıcı Foundation, we donated to the organization “HAPPY PAW,” which works for cats and dogs in need in Ukraine and has made great efforts in the international arena to contribute to their well-being and safety since the beginning of February 2012.
Helping homeless cats and dogs by caring about their fate is a humanitarian duty
“As the Foundation, we have previously provided aid to the victims of war in Ukraine. This time, we supported HAPPY PAW, an international organization that strives for animals in need in Ukraine and cares about the fate of homeless cats and dogs, to provide dry food aid to cats and dogs in distress in the war zone.” stated regarding the donation, Uğur Tatlıcı, Executive Board Member of our Foundation.
About “Happy Paw”
HAPPY PAW is the global animal welfare organization for animals under direct human influence, which rescues and protects suffering, needy animals for animals.
The charity way of Happy Paw began with the adoption of shelters in Ukraine in 2012 and eventually evolved into numerous projects and initiatives. They started to promote the humane treatment of stray animals among students.
With the search system they established, they worked to bring back lost and found pets to home. Happy Paw spread all over Ukraine. The project “Bioethics” has expanded its operations in Ukraine.
The donations and aid projects mentioned here were made by the founders of our Foundation, Nurten Tatlıcı and her son Uğur Tatlıcı, in memory of the late Salih Tatlıcı, the benevolent person whose name continues to live on through our Foundation and whom they bid farewell in journey to eternity in 2009.
