All over the world, industrial farms aim to increase people’s daily food consumption by using the smallest possible areas, at the lowest possible cost, in the shortest possible time, and as quickly as possible, to produce the largest possible quantities of meat, milk, and crops. These are generally farming practices where hundreds, thousands, or even hundreds of thousands of animals are crammed into very small areas. These farms not only play with public health, but also, as a result of the economic policies they follow, have brought small farmers, producers, and breeders to the point of extinction. Therefore, countries that have foreseen this danger either do not allow industrial farms or control their numbers and support small producers and breeders. As a foundation, we made a donation to the animal protection organization called “Sinergia Animal,” which works to end the worst practices of industrial animal husbandry. We received a thank-you letter from the aforementioned organization regarding the donation.
Animals Should Live A Life Free From The Pain, Suffering, And Stress That Humans Can İnflict Upon Them.
Regarding the donation, Uğur Tatlıcı, Executive Board member of our Foundation, stated: “The fate of industrially raised animals is one of the most urgent ethical questions of our time. Billions of sentient beings, each with complex perceptions and senses, live and die on the production line. Human power continues to grow, and our ability to harm or benefit other animals grows with it. For four billion years, life on Earth was governed by natural selection. Now it is increasingly governed by human intellectual design. Because biotechnology, nanotechnology, and artificial intelligence will enable living beings to be radically reshaped in new ways, we must take into account not only the welfare of homo sapiens, but that of all sentient beings”.

Sinergia Animal is an international animal protection organization that seeks to end the worst practices of industrial animal agriculture. The team has extensive experience in this field and has achieved major victories for animals. In Southeast Asian and Latin American countries, it works to reduce the suffering of animals exploited by the food industry and to reduce animal protein consumption by promoting more compassionate and healthy diets. In 2018, after just over a year of operation, Sinergia Animal was recognized by the renowned Animal Welfare Organizations Assessment Agency (ACE) as one of the world’s most effective animal welfare NGOs. It has maintained this recognition every year from 2019 to 2021. And in 2022, it achieved this recognition for the fifth time. The StandOut classification awarded to Sinergia Animal demonstrates that its work and campaigns have the potential to help many animals in the food industry.
