We Celebrate Mother’s Day in Honor of the Most Sacred Source of Infinite Patience, Unconditional Love, and Compassion: All Mothers

With their boundless love and selfless devotion, mothers make our world a better place. They are not only the ones who gave us life, but also the guiding lights who shape our character, instill our values, and remain our most precious treasures throughout life.

On this special day, we extend our heartfelt gratitude and best wishes to all mothers—especially to the cherished mothers of our martyrs, entrusted to us by our heroic fallen.

Christmas (Noel) Holiday

Christmas is a Christian holiday celebrated annually on December 25, marking the birth of Jesus. It is also known as the Feast of the Nativity, Holy Birth, or the Festival of the Incarnation. Most Christians around the world celebrate Christmas on December 25, although in some countries, festivities begin on Christmas Eve, December 24, and continue until the end of December 25.

In modern times, especially in English-speaking regions and some Western countries, the term “Christmas” and similar words derive from the Greek Khristos (Christ) and the Latin messa (Eucharistic mass). The word messa itself traces back to the Latin missa, meaning “sending” or “dismissal.”

On Christmas Day, gifts placed under the Christmas tree are exchanged. For young children, large stockings are filled with presents and sweets, which are said to be delivered by Santa Claus.

In Christianity, the Christmas tree symbolizes the birth and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Its branches and evergreen leaves are considered symbols of immortality and are said to represent the crown of thorns worn by Jesus during the crucifixion. Additionally, each ornament used to decorate the Christmas tree is believed to carry special significance. Spiritually, these ornaments symbolize personal virtues such as peace, love, kindness, joy, goodness, loyalty, and generosity.

Decorating the tree is a cherished family tradition that brings joy and togetherness. Each year, family members gather to adorn the tree with various ornaments, wishing for a healthy and happy life.

Father’s Day Greetings

We celebrate Father’s Day for all our fathers, who devote their entire lives, resources, and time to the future of their children, and who are the strongest symbols of love and trust. We respectfully remember our fathers who have been martyred for our country and have entrusted their children to the land of our nation.

On this occasion, this year on Father’s Day, our Foundation made a donation to the international “Save the Children” foundation, which has been working for 100 years to make the world a better place for children.

Happy Father’s Day to all fathers, who light our way with their love and generosity, who teach, advise, support us, and contribute to our future with their hard work.

We celebrate the Mother’s Day of all mothers, the most sacred source of love

Mothers, as examples of beautiful emotions like love, compassion, and self-sacrifice, are the most precious treasures of our lives. There are very few human emotions that can compare to a mother’s compassion for her child.

While fulfilling the responsibilities and duties we have undertaken, we should not forget that our mothers’ blessings are one of our most important sources of strength.

We celebrate Mother’s Day of all mothers, especially the precious mothers of our martyrs, who are entrusted to us by our sacred martyrs.

We Celebrate the Easter of the Christian World

In all cultures and beliefs, feasts are beautiful days when people are happy and resentments are forgotten. Feasts are meaningful times that unite us, strengthen feelings of unity and solidarity, and increase feelings of brotherhood.

On this occasion, as Salih Tatlıcı Foundation, which approaches all cultures and beliefs with respect, does not marginalize any human being and stands at an equal distance to all religions and beliefs, we sincerely congratulate the Easter, which we regard as one of the exceptional days of all Christians in our country and in our world, with our sincerest feelings, wishing peace, happiness and well-being, with the hope of a world where humanity lives together in peace.

Late Salih Tatlıcı Commemorated on 15th Death Anniversary

We are deeply saddened by the loss of my dear husband, my dear father. In the 15th year since he left us in deep pain, his absence continues to hurt us like an irreparable wound, and we feel an indescribable longing.

As the “Salih Tatlıcı Foundation”, which we have established to keep his name alive, as can be seen on our website, we continue to support associations and foundations established in the country and abroad that work in various fields to ensure a better life for all living things in the world, especially humans, and to protect nature.

In addition, this year, with the awareness of the importance he had always attached to education, we, as the Foundation, are experiencing the pleasure and pride of starting to provide scholarships to a large number of university students in cooperation with the centuries-old Darüşşafaka Society, one of the well-established educational institutions of our country.

Happy and Healthy New Year…

We are passing the year 2023.

As we enter the year 2024, we commemorate with respect, love and longing my dear husband and our father Salih Tatlıcı, whom we have always kept and will always keep alive in our hearts since 22 February 2009, when he left us in great pain.

Approaching all cultures and beliefs with respect, without marginalising any human being, and standing at an equal distance to all religions and beliefs, our Foundation has always supported those who need help, such as the disabled, the environment, education, culture, stray animals, war victims, earthquake victims, and providing water to Africa, both in Turkey and abroad.

On 6 February, a large number of our citizens lost their lives, were injured, lost their homes and belongings in the earthquake that occurred in Kahramanmaraş and was also experienced in our neighbouring provinces. In this earthquake, our foundation supported all Non-Governmental Organisations, especially AFAD, which worked to meet the needs of our citizens, primarily shelter.

As “Salih Tatlıcı Foundation”, we sincerely wish that the year 2024 will be a beautiful year in which love, peace, health and tranquility prevail for all people and living things, and that the evils that negatively affect humanity and all living things in our country and all over the world will end.

Happy New Year!

Christmas

Christmas is the Christian holiday celebrating the birth of Jesus on 25 December each year. It is also known as the Nativity, the Holy Nativity or the Christmastide.

Christmas is celebrated on 25 December each year by the majority of Christians around the world. In some countries, celebrations begin on Christmas Eve, 24 December, and continue until the end of 25 December.

Christmas” and other similar words used today in some Western countries, especially in the English-speaking world, are a combination of the Greek word Christos (Christ) and the Latin word messa (Eucharist). The origin of the word messa is again the Latin word “missa” (sending, posting).

On Christmas Day, gifts left under the Christmas tree are received and given. For small children, gifts and sweets are placed in giant stockings. The children are told that Father Christmas has brought these gifts.

In Christianity, the Christmas tree symbolises the birth and resurrection of Jesus Christ. The branches and thorny leaves of the tree are seen as a symbol of immortality and are said to symbolise the crown of thorns that Jesus wore on the cross. It is also believed that each ornament used to decorate the Christmas tree has a special significance. From a spiritual point of view, our personal qualities are also considered to be ornaments, such as peace, love, kindness, gentleness, joy, goodness, loyalty, kindness, etc.

Decorating the tree brings joy to the whole family. Every year, all members come together to decorate the tree with various ornaments and wish for a healthy and joyful life.
