On the occasion of the “International Day of Brotherhood“, our Foundation donated to the “Ukraine Humanitarian Fund“, one of the country-based funds of the United Nations, which works to eliminate differences and promote religious understanding and cooperation among people of all cultures and beliefs.
A certificate of appreciation was presented to our Foundation by the United Nations for the donation.

Regarding the donation, Uğur Tatlıcı, Executive Board Member of our Foundation, said: “Our world is full of divisions, conflicts and inequalities. Discrimination is at an all-time high. We must come together to protect and promote human rights, combat hate speech and violent extremism, and take action against those who profit from fear. Inspired by the declaration “Human Fraternity for World Peace and Coexistence” co-authored by Pope Francis and the Grand Imam of Al-Azhar, Sheikh Ahmed Al Tayeb, we can work for a world where dialogue, compassion and mercy coexist. And human dignity prevails. Let us reaffirm our commitment to eliminate differences and promote religious understanding and cooperation among people of all cultures and faiths. We, as the Foundation, have donated to the “Ukraine Humanitarian Fund” at the United Nations to help humanitarian NGOs and UN agencies in Ukraine help the most vulnerable communities and people and provide them with urgently needed food, water, shelter and other basic necessities, working to save lives and build a better future for millions of people who have been forced to flee their homes due to the ongoing war in our long-time neighbor Ukraine. On this International Day of Brotherhood, we celebrate the spirit of mutual respect and solidarity that binds us together as one human family.”
